On July 11, 2022, representatives of the State Agency for Cadastre, Land Cadastre and Cartography of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, represented by regional head Heiko van der Vecht and expert Bastiyan Reydon, visited GISHAGI RSE. The management of RSE “GISHAGI” acquainted the guests with the production cycles of creating agricultural maps and with the main technical capabilities of the enterprise. During the meeting, the activities of the Dutch State Cadastre and its main implemented projects were presented, while emphasizing the identity of the work at various stages of data processing and the creation of digital maps. The participants of the meeting discussed the technological process of creating and updating agricultural maps using aerial photographs, the development of tools for monitoring agricultural land plots, the implementation of land cadastre and cadastre of agricultural lands, algorithms for data storage and processing architecture. The guests also shared their experience in various countries, such as Brazil, Mozambique, Zambia, etc. The visitors noted the high level of production processes, as well as the scientific component of the organization and interaction with top universities in Kazakhstan.
As a result of the visit, the parties expressed readiness for mutual cooperation between the RSE “GISHAGI” and the State Agency of Cadastre, Land Cadastre and Cartography of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
