Deputy Director for Production Work of the Ushkonyr College of Water Management of the State Institution “Department of Education of the Almaty Region” Saparova Nazira Sailaubaevna visited GISHAGI RSE to sign a memorandum of mutual cooperation.
The college was founded in 1944 and has a long history and traditions.
One of the most popular specialties in the preparation of students is 07310300 “Land Management”.
In 2021, the college entered into a cooperation project to conduct hydromodule zoning of existing and newly introduced irrigated areas, taking into account the increase in their areas to 3 million hectares, and to make recommendations on the preparation of irrigation regimes for crops, taking into account rational irrigation methods and techniques in the context of administrative regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan in cooperation with the Kazakh Research Institute of Agriculture and Plant Growing, Nazarbayev University and the University of Nebraska. The program is supported by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Students of Ushkonyr College will undergo scientific practical practice in the research fields of the Institute of Agriculture in 2022 and 2023 and participate in webinars of the Nebraska Agricultural College of Valmont Valley Corporation, as well as college students will undergo practical development of college programs within the walls of the RSE “GISHAGI”.
