On April 12, 2022, the survey expedition No. 1 left for the Kyzylorda region to perform field work on decryption. The purpose of the expedition is to fulfill the state task on agricultural mapping. The main work of the survey expedition includes the decoding of agricultural contours and objects on an orthophotoplane in the field.

Field research-decryption is a very important, very responsible and time-consuming process among the works on the creation of agricultural maps. In the process of decryption, objects and contours of the terrain to be photographed are identified and drawn on the aerial survey materials with appropriate conventional signs in compliance with the requirements of generalization. This field study provides comprehensive information about the condition, purpose and use of agricultural land. Also, the quality of the manufactured plan depends to a large extent on the accuracy of determining the position of terrain objects from the photo image, the reliability and completeness of their characteristics.
