Visit of the Minister of Agriculture to GISHAGI

Minister of Agriculture Aidarbek Saparov paid a working visit to GISHAGI. Director of the company Nurbol Salybekov noted the importance of the event for the company.
During the visit, the Minister got acquainted with the activities of the oldest enterprise in the industry, founded in 1936 to study the land fund as the main means of production in agriculture. The company's products, agricultural maps, were also presented as an important tool in the modern agricultural sector and development prospects were discussed.
Minister of Agriculture Aidarbek Saparov appreciated the importance of the initiatives taken to improve land management, optimize agricultural production and develop rural areas, supporting the company in the implementation of the following areas:
the creation of open-use agricultural maps, which contributes to the accessibility and transparency of information about land for a wide range of users.
inventory of agroforestry plantations (protective forest strips) on agricultural lands to preserve and restore the protective functions of forest belts, extend their life cycle to stabilize agriculture, protect crops from drought, dry winds, deflation and water erosion;
calculating the areas of land contours for the purposes of the state land cadastre and land accounting, maintaining statistics and reporting in agriculture, and aligning the land balance;
carrying out an inventory of agricultural lands involved in agricultural turnover for optimization and rational use of land resources;
creation of an atlas of agricultural land, including by region, which will allow to systematize and streamline information about agricultural land in the country;
creating a forest map that will help to effectively manage forest resources and promote their sustainable development.
The Minister expressed confidence in the successful implementation of these measures and stressed their importance for the further development of agriculture and improving the lives of rural residents.
